Welcome to The Industry!
In this epic two-week camp we will explore the secrets behind Special Effects, the fundamentals of Photography, the art of Storyboarding, and more! On this journey we'll discover how costumes, students, lighting, acting, sound, locations and editing come alive on the BIG SCREEN. Everybody becomes part of the cast and crew to produce their first blockbuster!
WEEK ONE
Students will be guided through an introduction to film genres and a short history of film and video editing. They will learn the visual language of film and the fundamentals of narrative film making and animation, including writing, the treatment and creating the story board. Students will gain knowledge of the principles of camera operation, sound recording and on-location production techniques.

END OF WEEK ONE/ WEEK TWO
Taking the foundational skills amassed in the first few days students will create their final film from start to finish, ready for viewing at the final film screening on July 19th!
